An article by Drs. Saito and Sato (Psychological Process Research Team) and their colleague has been published in Biology of Sex Differences.
This study investigated sex differences in the rapid detection of neutral faces associated with emotional value.
The findings suggest greater sensitivity to faces with emotional significance in females, which might enrich interpersonal communication, regardless of sex.
