An article by Hiroki Tatemichi, Drs. Yasutomo Kawanishi (Multimodal Data Recognition research team, GRP), Daisuke Deguchi, Ichiro Ide, and Hiroshi Murase (Nagoya University) has been published in IEEE Access. They proposed a generalized two-stage shape reconstruction, which can reconstructor regions occluded by other objects, for object pose estimation, especially for heavily occluded objects.
